This Summer we had 8 scouts and 4 adult leaders make the trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico. After many question the Crew picked itinerary number eleven. From the Cimarron River, through the central and south parts of Philmont, this program packed trek is one of the most popluar for its out standing views. Rock climbing and a tour of Waite Phillips hunting lodge starts you off before you climbed Thundar Ridge (10,725'), Commanche Peak (11,326'), Mt Philips 11,711') and Trail Peak (10,247'), where you finish off your challenging rugged itinerary by hiking to Base Camp via the Tooth of Time. This Summer we traveled to Camp to partake in the activities. We had some of our scout part take in the more adventurest activities from July 26 thru August 1st. Check out the pictures.
